Move Highlighting
[ ] Select a stone with at least one normal move: all normal legal destinations are highlighted.
[ ] Select a stone with at least one capture move: capture destination cells are highlighted.
[ ] Capture destinations remain visible even when the destination is occupied by an enemy stone.
[ ] Show legal moves in movement phase: all legal moves for the active player are highlighted.
[ ] No illegal destinations are highlighted.

Mobile Layout
[ ] In portrait on a phone-sized viewport, the board appears above the sidebar panels.
[ ] The board occupies more visible space than in the previous release.
[ ] Header and tab area use less vertical space than in the previous release.
[ ] Status guide is collapsed by default on small screens.
[ ] “Show status guide” expands the guide correctly.
[ ] Hiding the status guide again works correctly.
[ ] Log remains below the board and does not crowd it excessively.
[ ] Play view remains usable in portrait orientation.

Touch Interaction
[ ] Tapping slightly off-centre still selects the intended cell.
[ ] Tapping a stone still selects that stone reliably.
[ ] Edge/near-border taps register the intended nearby cell.
[ ] No noticeable increase in incorrect cell selections.

State Integrity
[ ] Switching Play / Rules / Feedback preserves the current game state.
[ ] New game / Reset still works correctly.
[ ] Undo still works correctly.
[ ] Reserve placement mode still behaves correctly.
[ ] Victory condition setting still applies on reset/new game only.
[ ] 3-corner and 4-corner victory settings are unaffected.
[ ] Autoplay and AI diagnostics still run without UI regression.
